Situated on 40 lush acres of pasture, with a beautiful new barn, greenhouse and pavilion, Buffalo Skies is pleased to offer photographers a site for shoots with a western flare and grit. Photo shoots are available on a half hour basis, with discounts for hourly and longer. Please discuss with us directly if you would like to include photos with direct equine activities. Shire, our pride mare, is a local celebrity and our herd can handle riders of all skills. From senior pictures, to commercials, engagement shoots, business ads, and events, Buffalo Skies is prepared to help you capture those unforgettable moments.
In collaboration with Top Mare Stables, BSHR is pleased to offer natural horsemanship lessons. Considered the quintessential, “cowboy,” way of life, natural horsemanship is a philosophy that focuses on partnering with horses, to facilitate understanding horse’s instincts, herd behavior, body language, and communication which allows for the formation of mutual trust and respect. Natural horsemanship focuses on ground work, and pressure-release techniques to create a willing cooperation.
